Wayne Barrett of Village Voice, a former strongest supporter in the media of Spitzer “His conduct is deplorable…”
Really Wayne? Deplorable? He paid for the services of a sex professional in private. If he’d done so in London, through the same agency, where it is not illegal, would it still be deplorable?
The arrogance of men in the media who are commenting on this is insulting.
A message to all of you:
STOP ACTING LIKE YOU DON’T SLEEP WITH PROFESSIONALS JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE.
Be critical of his behavior as governor, his ability to work with legislators in NY, his political decisions, his history as AG. Fine, question his ability to be accountable to the state of NY.
Seriously, your coverage is getting old and stale if this is all that you can come up with. If every single male journalists takes the “moral” lip service route on this, it only displays the collective fear of having our own skeletons exposed.
Take this conversation in a new direction, get the focus off of the clients and onto the true, real people who do this work. You know us. You’ve met us. You know that the media coverage about us is ridiculously, outrageously far from the truth. You guys know that there is more to be told of this story, grow some balls and start saying something that we haven’t heard already.
Juhu rocks!
Maybe the media guys live in fear of the wrath of radical feminists? Okay, sort of a joke.
If everyone wasn’t riding their moral high horse, this wouldn’t be a scandal. A reason for divorce, maybe, but not a scandal.

Juhu is beyond awesome! I am so happy someone is putting her voice center-stage!
