  1. I have a problem with how Donna Hughes is called a “human trafficking expert.” If she’s an expert on any topic, her expertise is on how to promote oppressive laws against sex workers under the guise of fighting human trafficking and on how to keep laws in place that are resulting in sex workers being trafficked into jail cages by law enforcement.

  2. What’s great is that she says: “nobody has been convicted of being a trafficker.”

  3. Donna Hughes is an opportunist. Since 9/11, since the money began to flow in the war on terror, Donna has jumped on the bandwagon linking Islam to trafficking to all prostitution.

    Google Donna Hughes, trafficking, Islam

You get pages of Donna Hughes “expertise” and “logic” tjat rivals the vast analysis ability of President Bush.

Gee, you think there is a coincidence between 9/11 and the huge amount of money that became available to those aligned with the Bush view on fighting terror? Or the funding exclusivity that comes with her TVPRA support.

And in conclusion to my post here is a quote from the genius intellect of Rhode Island’s expert………

‘I’m critical of my sister feminists,” says Donna Hughes, a professor of women’s studies at the University of Rhode Island and an expert on trafficking. ”To me, the two biggest threats to women today are Islamic fundamentalism and the trafficking and normalization of prostitution. Mainstream feminists really have not been responding to these issues or active on them the way they should be.”
