Freedom and Independence never felt so sweeeett..

as I drove along the open road the next day away from the brothel, away from all the bullshit I had endured, every tree, every mountain, every cloud seemed to reach out and give me a hug or a high five.  I got out of my car and took a photo of myself: free, independent and in control of my body and sex work once again.

  1. I’m glad you got away.

  2. Hi,

I have been following your posts since day one…actually a few of us at Stepping Stone have been reading daily. (Yesterday I was at a meeting and pulled out my laptop during break to check in…and folks were wondering why I looked concerned and kept talking about Tabasco sauce🙂

Please know that positive thoughts and energies are being sent your way, by alot of folks and allies (some of whom you have not even met yet!).

I am relieved to know that you got away, and that you are safe.

Love and hugs from Halifax, Nova Scotia,
    Rene

  3. Mariko, I am really glad you’re out and free. Please take care.
I can relate to your experiences in somewhat a first hand perspective. It takes time to heal from situations you just experienced. Please be gentle with yourself and take good care of you.

  4. Stuart, in response to your private email. Stick your bullshit up your ass and twist.

  11. Thanks Chloe for sharing the details of the issue with Amanda.

  12. Sending lots of love and support. I am sorry for what you have experienced and hope you will be gentle with yourself and find your way back to love and light and wholeness.

I believe there’s a place in the movement and in the world for everyone to speak their minds and the truth about the ups and downs of their experiences so we can hear all the perspectives and work towards making a safer, more humane world for everyone.

I’m a provider myself and also have my own business writing and editing resumes and providing career counseling for all fields of work. And I offer my services free for any sex workers as I believe sex work is very much ‘real work’ (public relations, event planning, management and/or customer service) and I believe people should have as many options as possible.

Offering my services to you and to anyone else interested: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ers/824109173.html

    Lots of love!
