I’m glad I caught this from CraigsList Curmudgeon. Someone wants to collect stripper stories for a book. Not only that, but this person has the gall to charge an “editing” fee once the story is approved to be in the book.
No profit-sharing.
Thanks CC for finding this. Oh what an ass this is!

Gotta love how it says, “Well, if you can write between 5 to 10 pages” as if we’re all supposed to be shocked and amazed that strippers can write at all.
As a pro writer — and a pro smut writer — I gotta say this is completely offensive. I just wrote them a nasty note. Curious to hear what, if anything, they respond with. Subject matter aside no writer should be charged for ‘editing.’ Grrrrr.
Unless the writer hires a freelance editor.
But no, in on-the-level publishing, there is no fee for editing. It’s part of the package of being published.
Let us know what sort of response you get. I’m curious too.
