Annie Oakley, of Sex Workers’ Art Show Tour, on Fox News

Same old defensive tactics: aren’t you objectifying women, is this something you want your daughter to do?

And more on the protests at William and Mary.

  1. The audio on my computer doesn’t work and I didn’t watch the interview with Annie on the “O’Reilly Factor.” However, if the woman who interviewed Annie really did ask her if she would want her daughter to be a sex worker, then that’s none of this woman’s business. That’s a very invasive question. How Annie would feel about her daughter being a sex worker is between Annie and her daughter (if she has a daughter).
If I had a daughter, regardless of whether I would want her to be a sex worker, I can tell you that I wouldn’t want her to be persecuted for being a sex worker nor would I want a vice cop tricking her into thinking he’s a client and then arresting her. Regardless of what type of work she does, I would want her to be a strong person, which many sex workers are.
